Overhauling old casements and hardware in situ is slow, delicate work, and it mostly just delays the inevitable. Labour costs mean you’re paying close to 50% / 75% of the value of a total replacement, so we don’t believe this offers great value to the customer.

Everything is made to measure, so there is a manufacturing lead time before installation. Once your final measurements are taken, we build your casement windows to precise tolerances and fit you into our installation schedule.

Our casement window replacement process.

Below is a clear overview of how our casement window replacement process works, from initial survey through to final installation and certification.

Arrange a survey

We will visit you to carry out a free, no-obligation survey, Monday to Friday, 7am to 12 midday. During this visit we assess condition, discuss specification, and confirm the most appropriate service for your property.

Receive your estimate

We will email you a link to your online estimate within 48 hours of your survey. This estimate outlines all requested options and pricing clearly.

Accept the estimate

Once accepted, we issue your deposit invoice. After payment, a second surveyor visits to take final technical measurements before manufacture begins.

Manufacture

Your bespoke timber casement windows are manufactured to precise tolerances and prepared for delivery to our London storage facility.

Installation

Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and Saturday, 8am to 1pm. We require parking permits for 2 vans for the duration of the works.

Completion & guarantee

We issue your FENSA Certificate (where applicable) along with our 10 Year insurance-backed guarantee. All that remains is for you to enjoy the improved comfort and performance of your new casement windows.

A casement window is hinged at the side, top or bottom and opens outward on a lever or crank. It is one of the most common window styles in the UK and suits both contemporary and period properties.

All our casement windows are made from engineered timber or Aluminium. Timber has a choice of softwood, hardwood or Accoya.

If you have old double glazing or single glazing, absolutely. Going from single to double glazing should reduce heat loss significantly. Even older double glazing can suffer wear that compromises the seal between panes or develops draughts, so replacing these units can seriously improve comfort.

Yes, but you may need to get planning permission. Our windows have been installed in conservation areas all over London and will pass an assessment by the planning officer if provided with technical drawings, which we are happy to give you.

It will usually take 10 – 12 weeks to get the windows manufactured, then a further 2 weeks to fit you into our schedule. Once we are on site, it will usually take around 2 days to completely finish a window including painting and making good.

Yes, unless our basic fit is purchased, we take care of the removal, making good, sealing and painting as part of a comprehensive installation.
