Double Glazing

Our Double Glazing Service involves the replacement of your existing Windows with new, hand-crafted, custom built double glazed units. 

Glass Used

The glass used in our double-glazed timber windows is Pilkington K Glass ™. This glass has the ability to allow the sun’s heat through while simultaneously stopping heat escaping from your home. Please visit www.pilkington.com for more details and technical specifications.

Joinery

The new Joinery will be matched as closely as possible to your original windows. This is obviously an important factor to take into consideration if your property is (or is located in) a listed building or if it is located in a conservation or environmentally protected area. Due to the fact that the double glazed Sashes will be heavier, we add extra weights as necessary and rebalance the windows.

Window installations – Certification & Guarantees

We are a FENSA Registered window installer. This means that any windows we install will receive a certificate from FENSA confirming that the installation is compliant with current building regulations. In addition, as members of the GGFi insurance scheme, we can offer you a 10 year insurance backed guarantee on any new installation we carry out.
